Life beyond the Ego

John Gloster -Smith

Imagine what life must be like beyond the Ego! No dramas, no upsets, no numbers you are running in your mind or getting on it with other people, or even nobody or nothing upsetting your steadiness of mind and equipoise.

Sounds impossible or unlikely? Yet this is what many teachers say is possible for us. Yet how do we cope in the meantime?

This talk explores what the Ego is understood to be, both in how it is written about in eastern traditions and how people experience it in everyday life. It also explores the states of mind experienced beyond the Ego and how we can have more “Ego-less” moments in our everyday lives.

7 Words, 7 Wisdoms, 7 Subtle Forces

James Burgess & Richard Grey

James and Richard will briefly outline the essence and benefits of the 7 Words system, including some short, insightful exercises.

7 Words is a new way of thinking about life, with all its challenges and mysteries. Its a 21st century portrayal of ancient wisdom that demonstrates how 7 fundamental life principles can most simply be described and embodied as one of these 7 primary words: No, Hello, Thanks, Goodbye, Please, Sorry and Yes. Each of these, when authentically understood and integrated within an emotionally mature individual, creates a field of energy that registers and heals most deeply, at the very core of our being, where simplicity is truth. In other words, each of the 7 words has an effect upon the mind and the heart, which translates into how we think and feel.
The method is universally applicable, bringing greater clarity and increased effectiveness, no matter what the purpose.
