Weds 7th January ~ Laugh Your Way to Better Health & Happiness in 2009!

 

You've heard the expression 'laughter is the best medicine', but how can laughing actually improve your health and wellbeing? How can you get yourself laughing when there seems to be nothing to laugh about or when you're feeling really low? How can you laugh more and more every day without needing an external stimulus to laugh at? In this session we'll answer all of these questions and have a laugh doing it!

I discovered for myself the enormously potent benefits of laughter back in 2005, after suffering from many years of back pain and depression. After attending my first laughter session in London, it finally dawned on me how much of my back pain was actually trapped stress and anxiety, that for a long time I hadn't actually been laughing very much, and how inhibited I was! Ever since then, I've continued to be incredibly (and hysterically!) impressed by how transformational laughter can be. I now run laughter workshops all around the UK with businesses large and small, community groups, charities, adults and children.

Tonight's session WILL involve laughing so come along willing to laugh a little (or a lot)! We'll try out some simple laughter techniques, some laughter breathing and perhaps even a short laughter meditation! Everyone is welcome. What better way to start your New Year?
